Blechnum obtusum (Blechnaceae), a new species from western Venezuela. Brittonia 57:237–239. 2005.—Blechnum obtusum is described and illustrated as a new species. It grows in páramos of western Venezuela and most resembles B. werffii of Costa Rica and Panama.
